Lucky Bitch Video Transcript – 6 Life-Changing Money Books
Let’s talk life-changing money books.
Now, I absolutely love books about money and I will show you some of the books that are on the shelf right now and ones that I refer to all the time when I need a bit of a money, pick me up.
Money Book #1: Nice Girls Don’t Get Rich
Okay, the first one I want to share with you is Nice Girls Don’t Get Rich. Now, this book is amazing. And actually the other book in the series by Lois is Nice Girls Don’t Get the Corner Office, a must for any of my lucky B’s who are still in the corporate job or even if you’re just wanting to release some of the feelings and thoughts that you had about being in the corporate job.
When I read this book I realized all the mistakes that I actually had been making in my career. This is a great book too where it really talks about a lot of the sabotages that women make around money and it’s very, very practical and it really goes into a lot of the little decisions that we make that we really scrap about money.
I would love to hear if you’ve read this one as well.
Money Book #2: The Law of Divine Compensation
The next one is Marianne Williamson’s book The Law of Divine Compensation. This book really, really touched me in a very profound way, really made me realize that money can be a spiritual journey for us. It’s very, very powerful, you definitely want to get it and it’s a short-read as well.
Money Book #3: The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity
This is one of the most powerful books that I have ever read about money. I think I first read it about four years ago, it’s called The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity, a very, very simple but beautiful book about how you can really invite and receive more money into your life and this is especially important if you sometimes have that feeling that, you know, money is icky, that you’re evil or greedy for wanting to make more money, definitely a good one to get if you’ve got that.
Money Book #4: Women and Money
Now, I love Suze Orman, oh my God, I love her. Hi Suze!
This is one of the great books that Suze has written, Women & Money. She has written many, many of them but this is just one I happen to have on my shelf at the moment. Suze is the big sister that I wish that I had around money. I remember watching her on Oprah and just going, man, this women kicks butt around money. I also saw her speak at a conference and she opened up her speech, she just stood there before us and she said I stand before you a very, very, very, very wealthy woman. And I was just like, I really want to learn from her.
So pick up all of her books, they are very, very practical takes on some of the more, I would say, boring things around money like you’re investing and getting out of debt and all that kind of stuff, very highly recommend her books.
Money Book #5: How to be Wildly Wealthy FAST
Now one of my mentors and actually one of my friends now, Sandy Forster, her book How to Be Wildly Wealthy FAST. Sandy is just such an amazing role model around women and money, she is very down-to-earth, very funny, very lovely woman and she is a multimillionaire.
This book is different to the other ones I recommend because I personally know Sandy and, you know, she’s a very real woman. She has a very good story called Welfare to Millionaire and she really talks about how you can change your thoughts around money and how that really makes a huge difference. So that’s that one.
Money Book #6: Get Rich, Lucky Bitch!
And then the last one that I’m going to pimp, hey, I’m going to pimp my own book, recognize this person? Hey, my money book, Get Rich, Lucky Bitch! is really a very practical take on the law of attraction and how we can use it to manifest money.
I also talk a lot about releasing your blocks to receiving money and how you can create a first class life for yourself.
So, that’s what’s on my money shelf. If you actually want a sample of this book, if you want to see if it’s for you, just a bit of a spoiler, if you don’t like swearing, you probably won’t like it but you can find out for yourself if you just go to LuckyBitch.com/chapter, you will get a sample of the book and you can see if it’s for you.
So, there are the money books that I recommend, the money books that are on my personal shelf at the moment but I would love to hear from you in the comments.
